Scribblings of a Mad Writer

This is an analysis of Tolkien and Beowulf written by a seven year old girl. According to the article I read, Dad notes, “she came up with the contrasts on her own;” Mom adds, “Using the Seamus Heaney translation.”
Granted that the Heaney translation is not as accurate as it could be, it is very accessible to most people. So this is very cool. At 7 she knows more about Beowulf than most people do, which is amazing. And it is a good analysis.
Kids are brilliant.
